How It Works
Telehealth, Explained Simply
Telehealth means you get real, licensed medical care — without ever setting foot in a clinic. Everything happens online: your intake form, your provider consultation, your follow-up communication. For most of our treatments, the only thing that comes to your door is your prescription.
It's not a workaround. It's just a better way to get the care you need without clearing your schedule or sitting in a waiting room. Your provider is a real physician licensed in your state. Your prescription is a real prescription, filled by a licensed pharmacy and shipped directly to you.
How does the prescribing process work?
After you complete your intake form, a licensed physician reviews your information and conducts a telehealth consultation. If a treatment is appropriate for you, they write a prescription — which gets sent to a licensed compounding pharmacy and shipped to your address.
Is this legal? Can a telehealth provider actually prescribe medication?
Yes. Telehealth prescribing is legal in the United States for the treatments we offer. All of our providers are licensed physicians operating within the laws of your state. We are pursuing LegitScript certification, which verifies that our practices meet the highest compliance standards for online healthcare.
Do I need to keep seeing my regular doctor?
We're not a replacement for your primary care physician — we're a supplement to the care you already get. We recommend maintaining your relationship with your PCP and keeping them informed about any treatments you're managing with us.
How does shipping work?
Once your provider writes your prescription, it goes to a licensed compounding pharmacy. Shipping times depend on the pharmacy and your location, but most patients receive their medication within a few business days.
Can I change my dosage if it's not working?
Yes. Your provider monitors your progress and can adjust your protocol based on how you're responding. You can message your care team through the Remo patient portal at any time.
What if I need to cancel?
You can manage or cancel your plan anytime through your patient portal or by contacting our team. Full cancellation and refund terms are described in our Refund Policy.
Do you accept insurance?
Not at this time. Unleashed Health RX operates as a direct-pay telehealth practice. This keeps things simple and means you always know exactly what you're paying for.
Weight-loss protocols start at $149/mo (semaglutide) and $229/mo (tirzepatide) on an annual plan, with monthly, quarterly, and six-month options available. You'll always see the full price before you start.
